Introduction

A Mechanical Design Engineer will be part of developing new product platforms.  This role will navigate complex mechanical system design and structural optimization challenges to provide robust solutions for prototype vehicle structures, both air and ground. The team will be responsible for maintaining aggressive schedules in the engineering, testing, and build portions of projects. Your engineering expertise and experience could play a role in developing initial concepts through the tooling required to fabricate parts and assemblies. Urbineer works on programs that involve internal team collaboration as well as working directly with customers and strategic partners.

To Be Successful

A candidate must demonstrate an aptitude for designing precision mechanical systems and creating optimized vehicle structures. A knowledge of prototyping techniques, methods of manufacturing, and high strength to weight materials will be needed to take ideas from concept to deployment in next generation product platforms.
